It is interesting that the followers of Satan had received promptings that all of these new phenomena were just tricks and no one should pay any attention to them. Nevertheless, it was too overwhelming to be told that it was just a trick. The majority of the people not only believed in the reliability of what they had witnessed but they were converted back to their true religion. This was a glorious time for Nephi as he went among the people jubilantly happy and rejoicing in the literal fulfillment of everything Samuel the Lamanite had predicted.
