With this verse, the fire that surrounds them becomes an internal warmth, brought by the Spirit. Not only do they see their salvation after calling upon Yahweh-Messiah, but they can feel that salvation. The exterior fire symbolizes the internal spiritual fire of the Holy Ghost.
