“The Man’s Name Was Aminadab”

Brant Gardner

Although Mormon gives this man’s name, Aminadab (v. 39), were he not there, Mormon might well have invented him, for Mormon believes that a true understanding of Yahweh is a Nephite, not a Lamanite, characteristic. Thus, it would be a Nephite, though a dissenter, who can see Yahweh’s hand in these events.
