“The War Ended on the 18th Year and the Record of Alma is Ended”

Monte S. Nyman

These verses are self-explanatory. In addition to the summary in the heading of the above verses, the prophecy of the soldier was fulfilled, Zarahemnah cried for an end and Moroni ended the mass killing. However, as the following chapter will show, it was short lived.

Superscription:

The account of the people of Nephi, and their wars and dissensions, in the days of Helaman, according to the record of Helaman, which he kept in his days. Comprising chapters 45 to 62 inclusive.

As previously explained, the two chapters from the record of Alma were included in this volume instead of volume 3 because of their subject of war that continues in the record of Helaman.
