Deny the Justice of God No More; Go Thy Way, Declare the Word with Truth and Soberness

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

How much insight comes to mankind through a clear understanding of death, the spirit world, and the Resurrection as revealed through the scriptures! How much wisdom comes from a correct understanding of the doctrine of restoration! How much happiness comes from a calm and authentic understanding of the doctrines of justice and mercy!

So often in life people go astray because of their own wants and desires. The reason they choose to sin is sometimes due to a lack of understanding. This cannot be an excuse, for we have the light of Christ and we can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Throughout the Book of Mormon the prophets continually attempt to help the wayward by calling attention to God’s loving-kindness in past ages and by exhorting the people to remember the goodness of God in preserving them. Continually the prophets preach the word of God, which has power to change people’s lives. Remember that when we understand and appreciate the doctrines, principles, and covenants associated with the blessings of God, we are filled with gratitude, and then our attitudes, desires, and behaviors can change.
