Zoram is a Nephite dissenter who leads a group of followers—called Zoramites—away from the Nephite mainstream and into a separate community called Antionum (see Alma 30:59; 31:3). Alma is distressed to learn that Zoram is teaching his people to pervert the ways of the Lord by worshipping idols.
