“Even to the Exhausting of His Strength”

The reunion between Alma and Ammon was attended by a marvelous outpouring of the Spirit, with the attendant feelings of rejoicing. These feelings were so powerful in Ammon’s case that they exhausted his strength, causing him to fall to the earth in a manner similar to what had taken place at Lamoni’s conversion (see Alma 19:12-14).
