Concluding Thoughts

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

Effective missionaries, like the sons of Mosiah, prepare themselves to be instruments in the hands of the Lord. This takes a strong desire, devoted gleaning of saving knowledge, cultivating a testimony of the gospel, exhibiting faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and living worthy of the Spirit. Above all, missionary service requires that we have charity for all. This is our role as disciples of Christ in this the dispensation of the fulness of times. We are all missionaries. We learn that effective missionaries are first servants, and then teachers, and that by teaching the one, we teach the many. Truly the Book of Mormon is our divine companion to missionary work in the latter days.
