“A Holy God”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Man of Holiness is the name of our Heavenly Father (Moses 6:57). His house, law, words, ordinances, messengers, promises, priesthood, and Spirit are all spoken of as being holy, as is and must be any and all things that emanate from him. That is, they must be perfect in righteousness (see D&C 67:9). Thus no worship that is improper impure, unclean, or unholy is acceptable to him.
