As Mosiah watched his four sons depart into the forbidding depths of the great wilderness south of Zarahemla, he felt the weight of a heavy burden on his soul. As it turned out he would never see these sons again. But meanwhile king Mosiah needed to find a successor to the throne. He could already feel his life fading away, and his four sons had already advised their father that none of them wanted to be king.
