Mosiah Sent out a Proclamation to All the People

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

After great deliberation, King Mosiah issued a proclamation of equality to all his people, forbidding his subjects to persecute, vex, or otherwise abuse their fellows because of their faith or religion. In his edict, he also announced that in matters of conscience all men were equal before the law, and all were entitled to his protection.
