“Children of Nephi”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

Alma preached to the members of the many churches in the land of Zarahemla on the Lord’s saving grace. King Limhi and his people were finally baptized by Alma long after they expressed a desire for it (compare Mosiah21:33–35). The unity of all the people brought to them the Spirit of the Lord. Perhaps their righteousness resulted from the constant theme of their meetings: “For there was nothing preached in all the churches except it were repentance and faith in God.”
