Obviously keeping together was a means of mutual protection. Because of the treaty, they probably did not need protection against official Lamanite attack but rather from hostile bands or resentful individuals. Lamanites who burdened and beat the Limhites would certainly continue to do so but would be somewhat restrained by the presence of a larger group.
