“After Working Many Mighty Miracles”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

After showing forth the power and authority of God, in healing the sick, raising the dead, making the blind to see and the lame to walk, and many other wonderful works, Jesus was considered by the Jews to be only a man, and a man, too, who was of little or no account. He was led before His accusers as a sheep is led before the shearers, yet, "he opened not his mouth." (See Acts 8:32.) He offered no excuses, no defense of what He had done. They accused Him of sacrilege, saying, "He desecrated the Sabbath," and also, they said, "He is a law-breaker."
