“His Face Shone with Exceeding Luster”
Abinadi, like Stephen in the New Testament, is so filled with the Holy Ghost that he has been transfigured. Of Stephen’s defense before a like council in the Old World we read: “All that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel” (Acts 6:15). Those rejecting the testimony of Abinadi or Stephen are condemned by that which they have seen, that which they have heard, and that which they have felt within their souls.
