“And Now Abinadi Said Unto Them”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Abinadi did not immediately answer the priest's question. He turned from being the one questioned, to the questioner. From the prosecuted, he became the prosecutor. His indictment of the priests was serious. He charged that they were hypocrites and frauds. They had long pretended to understand the Scriptures, and by the spirit of prophecy to teach the people what was meant therein. Now they asked him the meaning of Isaiah's words.
