“They Did Boast in Their Own Strength”

No longer do we find a people who in the strength of their God seek to defend their home and their land but rather a people who glory in bloodshed and pride themselves in their own strength (see commentary on Mosiah 10:20-22). Thus as all things produce after their own kind, wickedness begets wickedness and a people become ripe for destruction.
