“Spare the Righteous”

By the end of the next thirty-eight years the more wicked part of the Nephites had been destroyed. The righteous, Amaron testified, were preserved. What more dramatic lesson could a nation receive? Those who acknowledge the hand of the Lord in all things find evidence of his word in all things, whereas those who refuse to listen to his word also close their eyes, their ears, and their minds to all that is going on about them.
