“It Also Has Been Made Manifest Unto Me by the Power of the Holy Ghost”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The Holy Ghost is the source of a sure witness unto all persons in all generations. Even persons who know because they have seen and heard and handled (see 1 John 1:1)-even these must gain the indelible witness to their soul, by the power of the Spirit-that the work in which they are engaged is true. Perfect knowledge comes by the power of the Holy Ghost (see Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation 1:44)
