“They Who Shall Not Be Destroyed Shall Be Scattered Among All Nations”

W. Cleon Skousen

Jacob had also seen how the Jews would become abominably wicked and would even crucify the Christ. From these verses we learn that since Jacob had spoken to the people the previous day, an angel had come to him meanwhile to give him a special message. This angel told Jacob that after the crucifixion the Jewish people would be scattered all over the earth. This process began in 70 A.D. when the Romans absolutely desolated Jerusalem and threatened to kill any of the Jews who tried to return to Jerusalem.
