“He Suffereth This That the Resurrection Might Pass Upon All Men”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Tied to Christ’s suffering and death is his rise from the tomb; they are the inseparable elements of his atonement, the means by which deliverance from death and hell is made available. Jesus suffered and died that he might then rise in the resurrection unto a newness of life. That rise from the dead then passed upon all men.
