The most noble of souls, the greatest of prophets, need heaven’s help to endure in faith to the end. Joseph Fielding Smith, even in his ninety-fifth year, and notwithstanding his position as the President of the Church, frequently, said, “I pray that I may be true and faithful to the end.” Never have such sentiments been stated more beautifully than they are in our present text by Nephi.
