“Be As God”

It is a natural desire, one born of purity and innocence, to “be as God.” The doctrine that salvation consists in our becoming as God has been the target of considerable bitterness in recent years. Little imagination is necessary to determine the source of that spirit which is offended by the desire of God’s children to become like their eternal Father.
