The last several chapters written by Nephi were based on the prophecies of Isaiah, Zenos, and other prophets taken from the plates of brass. He bears testimony that these writings are true. Although he had many personal revelations, he still relied on the scriptures to teach his posterity and us that we might be obedient to the commandments of God, endure to the end, and “be saved at the last day” (1 Nephi 22:31). With Nephi we concur by saying “And thus it is. Amen”
