“We Did All Go Down into the Ship with Our Wives and Our Children”

W. Cleon Skousen

We can only estimate the number of passengers who finally boarded the ship. It is estimated to have been somewhere between 30 and 50 men, women and children. Nephi only specifically mentions the two sons who were born to Lehi during the wilderness trek, but he mentions that all of them had fairly good size families.
