Nephi has great anguish for his brothers and is fearful they will be cast off forever. He bears fervent testimony of his faith and commitment to do all things the Lord commands him to do. Nephi confounds Laman and Lemuel and then, in response to the Lord’s command, reaches out toward his brethren and shakes them through God’s power.
