“Into the Mountain”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The instruction of the Lord to Nephi was not to be given in the comfort of his tent. Nephi ascended the mountain so that the Lord might speak to him. Mountains are nature’s temples and are frequently used as such by prophets and righteous men when no temple is available.
