“Eight Years in the Wilderness”
Eight years have passed and the record of Nephi has dealt with scarcely a dozen events. This is not a family history, but rather a testimony of God and his dealings with a family. The experiences of the family assume importance to Nephi as they provide a setting in which eternal principles are learned and from which they can be taught.
