Lack of understanding often fosters doubt and a weakening of desire. Even worse, however, is that growing unbelief can enter one’s mind. Understanding comes through study and prayer—the same process that firms up one’s testimony of true principles. If things are difficult to understand and accept, do you murmur or do you study things out in your mind and inquire of the Lord?
