In this last passage we have the message of Lehi which nearly got him killed. He declared that when Jesus came upon the earth the Jews would mistake him for an imposter and they would the means to bring about his death. Nevertheless, Lehi knew Jesus he would rise from the dead and afterwards the gospel of salvation would be taken to the Gentiles.
