Eternal life “is the greatest of all the gifts of God” (D&C 14:7). Those who have tasted of this gift, even though they have not fully eaten, are desirous for their loved ones to partake. This is not only true for Lehi, but also for other parents, bishops, friends, and teachers. Hopefully the people who have righteous leaders concerned for them will understand this concept and appreciate the hopes and prayers spent on their behalf.
