“Of the Seeds of Fruit of Every Kind”

W. Cleon Skousen

Nephi introduces this chapter by telling us that before they began this journey they gathered together all kinds of seed from Jerusalem. This included both grain and fruit seeds. These were carried in huge bags on each side of a camel and they weight around 150 to 180 pounds a piece.

Before long, this company of pilgrims will move on, but before they do so, the Lord had some important things to teach them. It all began after Lehi had a spectacular dream.
