“He Began to Tremble, and Was About to Flee”

Brant Gardner

The same sentence that Nephi used to calm his brothers terrified Zoram. Whatever he said, Zoram immediately understood that the man beside him was not Laban in spite of the armor and sword. He must have also instantly understood that Laban was either dead or severely incapacitated and that he himself was an unwitting accomplice in a major theft. It is no wonder that he “began to tremble, and was about to flee.”
