“Led by the Spirit”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

This verse raises for each of us a fundamental question of conscience: Am I worthy to be led by the Spirit? Nephi is a supreme example of a servant of God who followed the Spirit in every thought and deed. He repeats again, at the end of his life, this eternal formula for spiritual success: “For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do” (2 Nephi 32:5). If we live by the Spirit, it will lead us in the pathways of truth and righteousness.
