History: In the context of the historical unrest, Lehi is stirred by concern. Certainly Jerusalem’s impending destruction is the most immediate problem. However, since we find some themes of the pre-reform religion in Lehi (such as the emphasis on the Atoning Messiah and the vision of the heavenly council), it is possible that Lehi is also concerned about the aftermath of the reform.
